They knew me before I know them. Why I was there, Why they knew me first and What I have done.
Why I was there
When I was doing the project with P'Boy, I had a meeting to update our progress. I found that there was someone could not find people to help her project who was my supervisor in this team, P'Joob, Rujirapa Preecha. She asked me if I was interested. I told her if I was available, I was going to help then.
I told P'Boy, Boorana Kraisorn, that I wanted to help her project and I could get more knowledge and more people. The project that I made with him was able to be used at that time so I could try new projects as well. So I joined this project at the first of October. It was not that easy if you just wanted to help.
Interview again! She said that I was going to invite you to have an interview session via the email. Come on.. If I could not pass this interview, I would not do this project, right? I went to interview with P'New, Anusorn Rochana-aree. He was my dev supervisor for this project. I felt like I was interviewing on the 2nd round. He asked me just technical skills. How did I call it? How did I do it? Was there another way to do it? I waited for a while. Finially, I passed the interview! So I joined the project with P'Joob then.
Why they knew me first
When I joined in the innovation event, I met many people there. I talked and exchanged ideas with them a lot. At the first day, I came to technical support team, I met them again! P'Orn was sitting next to me, she said hi and told me that you could see more people you ever met. Was it fate? I met more 2 people that I met them in that event. Relaxed! Thank you myself to go to that event. I got new friends already!
I may bring this topic up. Everyone in this team is sooo good at English. I thought I was sitting at the US office. I was so surprised that they were able to speak English naturally without thinking in Thai at all. There were no word umm, ahh, orr like words to think what they were going to speak. I loved it!
What I have done
Voice of the Customer or VOC was my project. To analyze how feedback customers give after finished haveing call with our technical leads. I was mainly responsible for frontend development. Not only just to make an interface for the website, but also to learn how to design, how to get requirements and how to do processes. I write a document to explain every single step of our processes. I also help my supervisor about doing kinda programming or coding ways.
Feeling. I told my supervisor that I did not want to be a person who just did coding all the time. I wanted to do many things to learn new knowledge where I could not find from university. She was so kind. She gave me all chances that I could. Like, I wanted to rum the product demo in the showcase session where there was a foreigner joining. Sha said sure, why not? It was impressive. My supervisor liked to join events about innovations. She liked to learn new technology. When there was any event, she would invite me. When I told her like I wanted to meet new people who are good at.. or who know about.., she would give that person's name to me.
My supervisor would like to walk around to have new restaurant during lunch time too. I got to try new restaurants with my supervisor. She said I had ever been all restaurants aound here if you would like to go somewhere then feel free to ask me, haha.
Well, I would say that I got the best luck again to be a part of this project. Thank you so much my lovely supervisors.
